“Love is the basis of the discovery of God and self and love is the basis of discovering your purpose and God is the root out of which you spring and without acknowledgment of your Creator, you’re limiting your ability to grow. "
We are all gifted, but we have to discover the gift, uncover the gift, nurture and develop the gift and use it for the Glory of God and for the liberation struggle of our people.
"If you were made in the image and likeness of God, He gave each one of us a part of Himself that allows us to reflect him." “Allah, the Creator, has never created one creature that he didn’t deposit something in that creature for other creatures like ourselves to study and learn from." “Each one of us has a gift that came directly from the Creator. He did not miss one of you. He is present in all of you,” - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, The Final Call, July 18, 2019: 2019 National Training Seminar
‘Your Inheritance Is The Mind Of God’ - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - Final Call, January 18, 2017: Lecture - 14th annual Afrikan Black Coalition Conference - January 14, 2017
Holy Quran:
(5:120) ““Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is in them. And He is Possessor of power over all things.”
(2:267) "O you who believe, spend of the good things that you earn and of that which we bring forth for you out of the earth, and aim not at the bad to spend thereof, while you would not take it yourselves unless you connive at it. And know that Allis is Self-sufficient, Praiseworthy.
Thoughts are powerful and can reshape reality, this is why it is so important to cultivate positive and constructive thoughts to influence one's life and environment.
“Thought is power because it is thought that shapes matter. I don’t care how strong the matter is, thought can reshape it! Thought can remold it! That’s why how you think is critical!” "The Mind is a divine gift and a sacred inheritance from God." The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - Final Call, July 31, 2014: A New Thought, A New Mind - July 25, 2014
"Your inheritance is the mind of God.”

Farrakhan Tells Students: ‘Your Inheritance Is the Mind of God’ - Afrikan Black Coalition Conference
Mathematics and science are foundational to civilization and self-mastery. Proficiency in these areas allows individuals to understand and harness the forces of nature, leading to personal and collective empowerment.
"The center of knowledge is GOD and you. If you study yourself, every discipline that is in every university, you’ll find it within yourself. You are mathematics!" - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - Nurimuhammad.com
"The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that it is proficiency in mathematics that makes one a builder of civilization. All other disciplines are embellishment, but math and science build civilization." " Islam is mathematics and that mathematics is Islam " -

A Muslim as someone who submits their will to do the will of Allah. True submission to Allah involves aligning one's actions, thoughts, and intentions with divine guidance. This submission is not passive but active, requiring conscious effort and dedication.
Our gifts are not solely for personal gain but are entrusted to us as a means to serve others and fulfill a higher purpose, beginning with a sincere intention to use your abilities for the benefit of others and to please Allah. Always assess how your actions and choices align with Islamic principles and values. Pursue knowledge and skills that enhance your ability to serve others effectively. Use your talents to contribute positively to your community, addressing its needs and challenges. Acknowledge that your abilities are gifts from Allah and remain humble in their use.
"He grants wisdom to whom HE pleases. And whoever is granted wisdom, he indeed is given a great good. and none mind but men of understanding. - Holy Quran (2:269)
Mastery in any field begins with self-mastery and is achieved through dedication, discipline, and alignment with righteous principles. Achieving mastery requires a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Self-mastery is foundational to mastering external disciplines, as understanding oneself leads to a deeper comprehension of the world.
“The mastery of yourself is the mastery of all the forces that operate in the universe.”
— The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - Final Call, October 30, 2012: Lecture - 'Be the Change you are looking for', Bowie State Univ. - October 26, 2012
"In the Muhammad University of Islam school system, our students’ learning is facilitated because they identify with the subjects. They are taught that they are the subject. They are taught, 'I am chemistry.' Not, 'I am a student of chemistry,' rather, 'I am biology. I am economics. I am history. I am mathematics."

Integrity and moral alignment empower individuals to fully realize and utilize their talents. Educaton and continuous learning are the important factors in developing and nurturing one's gifts. Aligning one's actions with righteousness is crucial for the effective use of one's gifts. We must strengthen our mind and use our gifts for its purpose. We should not stop using our gifts, as long as they are being used in alignment with truth, righteousness, and service to others. Sometimes you may take time to reflect, realign, or heal, but never quit.
“The more we perfect our abilities, the greater our contribution will be in that which is everlasting.”
The Final Call - August 30, 2022 - Identify Your Gifts and Perfect Your Abilities: Farrakhan: The Traveler — Jabril Muhammad
One of the most debilitating obstacles to expressing our gifts is fear. Fear to be yourself, fear to be unique, fear of being ridiculed, or fear of disapproval. All of these feelings may occur when we realize we have something unique that we would like to express but may not get the approval we need that would validate our gift or validate us. Too often we give others the power of validation, when that power belongs only to Allah. Certainly, others can add value to our gifts with genuine, meaningful and constructive criticism or even guidance, but we have to solely rely on Allah, the giver of the gift, for validation and elevation. We must realize our gift confirms itself and understand that Allah knew you before you knew yourself - before you even discovered you had a gift, HE knew what HE gave you.
What we really fear is the development and manifestation process, as we strive towards mastery of our gifts. This can be difficult as we face criticism, disappointment, or even envy. Everyone who has strived to master a gift has experienced these same trials. No one comes into this world with a mastered gift. Gift mastery is a struggle we must overcome by working hard in the area of self-development and development of the gift itself. Hard work is paramount to the cultivation of gifts, even for those who may criticize or ridicule during the development process. As we begin to master the gift, the more grateful we are for the gift - the more confident we become concerning the gift, and we no longer desire validation from others.
These trials are certainly a test to your worthiness and a test of your faith.
"Anytime we allow anything to make us afraid, and we refuse to challenge our fear of that thing, then we can never be that man, or that woman, that God intended us to be. Fear will not allow you to be yourself!" - - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, The Final Call, September 21, 2011: Fear, Faith & Truth
“If you are grateful, I will give you more...”
— Holy Quran (14:7)
Obstacles are not signs to stop, but tests of character, faith, and purpose. Obstacles are divinely permitted challenges meant to strengthen your gift—not silence it. When things feel blocked, we must return to why we were given the gift. If the intention is righteous and the purpose is to serve, you will find the strength to endure. Obstacles often challenge your internal strength more than your external skill. Self-mastery—of emotions, habits, mindset—is key to overcoming what blocks you.
Refine your method, collaborate with others, seek mentorship or further training, Or adjust your platform—but don’t bury your gift.
Your gift is from God. And if He gave it to you, He expects you to use it—especially in the face of resistance. When you feel blocked, return to Allah. Ask Him to show you what the obstacle is teaching you.
"We cannot go through life without difficulty. We cannot go through life without struggle. God has ordained this because these are the circumstances of life that manifest the quality of our character, our heart, the core of our being." Brother Jabril Muhammad: 'Closing the Gap' Inner Views of The Heart, Mind & Soul of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, Page 307
Emotional honesty is essential. Don’t hide from your disappointment or pretend it doesn’t hurt. Feeling pain is human. Every disappointment is either a lesson, a test, or a redirection. Depression from disappointment often arises when we tie our worth to an outcome. Rather, we should focus on what God is trying to show us. Depression often deepens when our internal dialogue becomes toxic. Challenge the voice within you that says, “You’re not good enough.” “You should quit.” “It’s never going to work.” Feel it, name it, and confront it, but don’t become imprisoned by it. Even when you feel broken, do something small that moves you forward. ...And Keep Moving—Even if It’s Just One Step.
In this world we’re taught to deny our emotions. That’s not strength—that’s self-destruction.
Ask yourself: “What did Allah give me this gift for? Who am I meant to help with it?” “Allah (God) created the human being to struggle. And most of us don’t like struggle. We like ease. But the Holy Qur’an says, after difficulty comes ease or with difficulty comes ease. You’re not going to get ease without difficulty. When the difficulties come in your life, know that ease is coming.” — The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan: The Final Call - December 8, 2009, Lecture - 'Trials are made for purification', - October 20, 2002 - Mosque #12, Phila. PA.
Holy Qur’an (94:5-6):
“Surely with difficulty is ease. With difficulty is surely ease. So when thou art free (from anxiety), work hard."
Envy and jealousy are destructive forces, which can hinder personal growth within individuals, but also erodes the collective strength and unity of the community. Self-awareness and mutual respect, urging individuals to recognize and appreciate each other's unique contributions are some things we can do to counteract the destructive effects of envy. When faced with persecution or opposition remain focused on your purpose and trust in Allah's plan. Challenges are part of the journey and should be met with resilience and faith.
"Envious people hate you for what you've worked for and earned. They hate you for that which you have, which they can't use or handle if they had it!" - Bro. Jabril Muhammad - 'Closing The Gap' - Inner Views of The Heart, Mind & Soul of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
“Envy is more cruel than the grave. Once the spirit leaves the body and you put that body in a grave, worms begin to eat away the flesh. After a while, there’s nothing left but the bones, and the person becomes unrecognizable. That’s what happens when we envy one another. We deteriorate and rot from within." - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - The Final Call, November 23, 2004: The Disease of Envy among Black Leaders and Organizations
" If you begin to dislike someone for the mastery of their gift, then God will put a veil over your gift, and you will never see yourself as an equal to the one that you are envious of." The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - The Final Call, July 18, 2019: Minister Farrakhan shares message on self-mastery and manifesting power.
“Do you know what makes us get rid of envy? When we know that each one of us has been gifted with a gift from a Mighty Creator and none of us are in this room without something special to offer".
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - The Final Call, November 23, 2004: The Disease of Envy among Black Leaders and Organizations
Holy Quran - Surah 113 – Al-Falaq (The Dawn)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, From the evil of that which He has created,
And from the evil of intense darkness when it comes, and from the evil of those who cast (evil suggestions) in firm resolutions, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
As time progresses, our gifts may seem less useful or relevant to what the community and society may need. However, every individual has a unique purpose, and their contributions continue to hold significance. We can overcome the idea of uselessness if we adapt to change and find new ways to apply our talents, ensuring they remain impactful. When faced with feelings of obsolescence, we should reflect on our passions and seek new avenues where our skills and talents can be applied.
It is important to continually learn and grow, explore new ways of expressing our talents. Staying informed and current is key. We should also pour our knowledge into the youth and use our talents to help develop those who have similar talents but may need guidance and direction.
We have to be teachers. Never view the youth as competition or as a threat or replacement for you—Embrace the youth, because they are our future. Use your wisdom and experience to help build, shape and guide them. As you invest in their growth, their energy and creativity will, in turn, secure, strengthen and uplift our communities. Your knowledge, wisdom and guidance can nurture the development of theirs and in this fast-paced world full of new technology, their own wisdom and knowledge can be a resource to you- giving rise to a new understanding—one capable of ushering in true freedom, justice, and equality.
"So, when I look at you and you look at me, we are looking at individuals that there’s no one like, never was before, and won’t be again. This is our moment in time to unite our uniqueness and pass on to a succeeding generation the legacy of what we, in our uniqueness and our recognition of each other’s greatness, have accomplished in the long march toward total liberation." The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan - The Final Call, November 23, 2004: The Disease of Envy among Black Leaders and Organizations
Jesus said it best: “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” You, our young people, are the strongest, most powerful generation that we have ever produced since our fathers were brought to these shores as slaves. You are greatly misunderstood, not only by your elders but oftentimes by your parents. We produced this generation, and we cannot deny what we have produced. They are different from us. They are not hope, they are fulfillment. But when the thing that is hoped for comes along, sometimes we are not prepared for what we hoped for. - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, The Final Call, June 26, 2018 - Our Youth: The Most Powerful Generation We've Produced Since Slavery
Ants display extraordinary cooperation, discipline, and unity. Although tiny in size, their collective behavior offers powerful lessons for human beings. From building complex colonies to selflessly serving their communities, ants embody a spirit of purpose and unity that we often overlook. By studying their patterns, we can uncover valuable lessons in unity, shared responsibility, and humility, which can strengthen our own communities and nation. [Read More]
Oh Allah! I seek Thy refuge from anxiety and grief and I seek Thy refuge from lack of strength and laziness and I seek Thy refuge from cowardice and niggardliness and I seek Thy refuge from being overpowered by debt and the oppression of men. Oh Allah! Suffice Thou me with what is lawful to keep me away from what is prohibited and with Thy grace make me free of want of what is beside Thee. Ameen!
