In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful!
Question: Do you have plans to build up Muhammad universities in such a way to have dormitories to enable students from around the U.S. to attend, like other colleges?
HMLF: "That was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad's vision - and it will become our duty to complete his vision. But today, we must use his Teachings, and the Teachings of Muhammad University, and grow it to the university level; and then through internet and satellite, have classrooms all over the earth, with the best teachers teaching our people wherever they are, so no one will be deprived of the benefit of the knowledge that Elijah Muhammad wanted for our people."
- The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

As-Salaam Alaikum!
I pray that you and your families are well and in the best of spirit!
On September 11, 2023, the Regional Ministry of Education made history by opening the very first Muhammad University of Islam Hub in N. Charleston, SC (Allah-U-Akbar)!!! We thank Allah for Brother Student Regional Minister Abdul Khadir Muhammad and MUI DC's Directress, Sis. Stephanie Muhammad for their approval of the MUI Hub!
The MUI Hub will allow smaller cities that do not have certified teachers an opportunity to receive instruction from an established MUI virtually. All students in the city who desire to enroll meet in one location in their respective cities to attend school together! The hub has a site facilitator that ensures the safety and well-being of the students who are present.
MUI DC is now in open enrollment season. If you are interested in enrolling your child in an MUI, please complete the 'MUI Enrollment' form below.
May Allah continue to bless us all!
Peace.

Homeschool hubs provide collaborative learning opportunities, expert teachers, and community engagement while allowing families to maintain autonomy over their child's education
MUI integrates our Nation of Islam teachings, emphasizing spiritual and moral development alongside academic learning. MUI provides a rigorous curriculum tailored to individual student needs, ensuring a balance between traditional subjects and cultural enrichment. The program incorporates unique teaching techniques, such as exposure to classical music, early language development, and dietary education. Our homeschool network fosters a strong sense of community, with families and cities pooling resources and sharing educational strategies.
Yes, parental involvement is highly encouraged and needed in our homeschool hubs. At times, parents may be needed to assist educators in specialized subjects, organize field trips, clubs, or workshops to enhance children's learning experience and foster social interaction. We may also need assistance with scheduling, enrollment, or resource management to keep our hub running smoothly.
